Reaper Form is Death's special form just like Chaos Form is War's special form. There are two ways for Death to access the power of his Reaper form. One way is when some of Death's combo attacks end with him briefly shifting into Reaper form, mostly to use his giant scythe to demolish the enemies he is currently fighting. But, in a style more in line with War's Chaos Form, he may also fill up a meter that allows him to shift into Reaper form for a short duration. While in this form he is more or less immune to damage and deals massive amounts of damage with his scythe therefore allowing him to easily tear through large groups of weak enemies or go toe to toe with tougher monsters.

Appearance

Death's face is completely hidden by the hood he has in this form while he seemingly has no legs at all. Giant skeletal wings sprout from his back, although these seem to be for show as he floats about a foot off the ground, seemingly unaided by the wings. Lastly he carries a gigantic scythe in his large bony hands, with countless skulls engraved into the flat of the blade. All of this gives him an appearance similar to the common depiction of the Grim Reaper.
