The Tree of Life and Death is a massive tree that links the realms of the Darksiders universe. Each realm has its "own" tree, in the darker realms it is the Tree of Death while in the realms of light, the Tree of Life. It leads to a conclusion that there is only one tree that manifests itself in a different form, reflecting the inherent duality of being. Regardless of how one looks at it, the Tree of Life and the Tree of Death contain the gate to the Well of Souls.

• Earth doesn´t possess a Tree of Life/Death by the order of the Charred Council. When humanity was relocated to Earth after the Nephilim destroyed Eden, the Charred Council ordered the destruction of the tree, so that no one could interfere with the Third Kingdom until the End War.
