Vernon George Wells (born December 31, 1945) is an Australian film and television actor who has built his career around action-type films, most often cast as a villain.He is best known to international audiences for his role of "Wez", in the 1981 science fiction action film Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior.
After Mad Max 2, Wells began appearing in Hollywood films, such as the military action film Commando (1985) where he played Bennett, Arnold Schwarzenegger's rival. In the Darksiders series Wells provides the English voice of Samael. In the film noir feature film, Trouble Is My Business Vernon Wells plays Police Detective Barry Tate
He is also well known amongst the "Power Rangers" fanbase for playing the villain Ransik in the Time Force story arc.
